Our Mission Statement

My name is Ella Hammer, and with the following lines, I would like to present my vision and the mission statement of my newly founded cleaning company.

I grew up in beautiful Graubünden, but have been living in Basel for over 10 years now. In Basel, I completed my training as a federally certified hotel manager and various further education courses in the field of household management.
“The demands for performance and quality in the hotel industry are very high”
As a hotel governess, or as it is called today, Executive Housekeeper, I possess many years of work and leadership experience in the hotel industry. The work intensity and quality standards in the hotel industry are very high, and my team and I had to deliver peak performance every single day. I was fortunate enough to work in very well-managed hotels. I was able to build my own team, train and develop them according to modern principles. This allowed me to consistently achieve high and uniform quality, while always ensuring high employee and guest satisfaction. Unfortunately, this is not always the case everywhere…

“Unfortunately, cleaning often does not receive the recognition it deserves”

The provision of cleaning services is far too often subjected to excessive cost pressure, meaning that too little time and attention can be dedicated to cleaning. This leads to dissatisfaction among cleaning staff and, after a certain period, to declining quality and increasing customer dissatisfaction. In the private sector, cleaning staff are also still far too often employed illegally, without insurance coverage or social benefits. Most of these cleaning staff are also not sufficiently trained in cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning agents. Therefore, it is not surprising that the quality of cleaning is often deficient, unreliable, and not very environmentally friendly.
“Every crisis is an opportunity for a new beginning”
Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, the hotel industry has been in a deep crisis. Therefore, together with my team, I seized the opportunity and founded my own cleaning company. This allows me to continue providing employment for my team and myself, while realizing a unique and new concept for cleaning services.
“Quality is my standard, both for clients and employees”
With my company, I stand 100% for the values of cleanliness, reliability, sustainability, and satisfaction, for both clients and employees. Good employment conditions, continuous staff training, an environmentally friendly approach to materials, and a good price-performance ratio are fundamental prerequisites for me. My goal is to always achieve a win-win outcome for both clients and my employees.

“The demands for performance and quality in the hotel industry are very high”

As a hotel governess, or as it is called today, Executive Housekeeper, I possess many years of work and leadership experience in the hotel industry. The work intensity and quality standards in the hotel industry are very high, and my team and I had to deliver peak performance every single day. I was fortunate enough to work in very well-managed hotels. I was able to build my own team, train and develop them according to modern principles. Adherence to clearly defined standards is elementary in this regard. Only in this way could I consistently achieve high and uniform quality, while always ensuring high employee and guest satisfaction. Within the cleaning industry, standards are rarely applied, and this is where our team fills a gap. The desire for consistent and high-quality cleaning in one’s own home is far more important than in a hotel, where one is merely a guest.

Through permanent employment, insurance coverage, pleasant and modern working conditions, environmentally friendly company vehicles, training, and motivational measures, we ensure that the work performed receives the appreciation it deserves.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the hotel industry plunged into a deep crisis. Therefore, together with my husband and my team, I seized the opportunity and founded my own cleaning company. This allowed me to continue providing employment for my team and to realize a unique and new concept for cleaning services. To this day, our team has steadily expanded, and we currently count over 100 households, properties, or offices in the Basel area among our loyal and satisfied clientele.
